Michael Schoen joined BeOne Medicines in 2017 and serves as SVP, Head of Government Affairs and Special Assistant to the CEO.

Prior to joining BeOne, he was Managing Director & Head of Latin America & Caribbean Debt Capital Markets for Scotiabank. Mr. Schoen additionally held leadership roles at Credit Suisse, DLJ, and J.P. Morgan in their respective Emerging Markets groups.

In 2023, Mr. Schoen joined the Board of Trustees for BioNJ, New Jersey’s life sciences trade association, and in 2025, he was elected Vice Chair. In 2024, he also joined the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) as a Board member where he serves as Co-Chair of the International Affairs Committee.

Mr. Schoen serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the HealthCare Chaplaincy Network, a global healthcare nonprofit organization that offers spiritual care-related resources and professional chaplaincy services in healthcare settings and online. He holds a B.S. in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
