BeOne Medicines is, at its core, a purpose-driven organization. We were founded with a mission to deliver innovative medicines to more patients around the world.

To best position ourselves to achieve our mission, we must ensure our organization remains resilient over the long-term by the proactive identification of both risks and opportunities. BeOne was intentionally built in a responsible and sustainable way: Our global in-house capabilities allow for close oversight, which safeguards patient safety and product quality, and enable operational efficiencies, helping us to move rapidly and cost-effectively through drug development. Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact business continuity is crucial in fulfilling our promise to the patients we serve.

We are tasked with understanding the priorities of our various stakeholders, providing accurate and transparent reporting of BeOne’s progress related to those priority issues while collaborating cross-functionally to support the improvement of our policies and practices, as needed.

By working closely with those inside and outside of our organization, the Responsible Business & Sustainability team helps to ensure that the company continually evaluates and refines our practices, making certain we remain aligned with evolving global standards and the expectations of our stakeholders.

As part of our effort to stay ahead in a rapidly shifting environment and to understand which topics matter the most to our stakeholders, we conducted a double materiality assessment that examined more than 200 potential impacts, risks and opportunities. This process helped us identify 36 key issues across 15 core topics that demand our focus in the coming years.

By concentrating our efforts on these high-priority areas, we can efficiently utilize our resources to strengthen our operational and reputational resilience and uphold our commitment to patients.
